Our Programs

Our focus is women who are survivors of Domestic Violence, Sex/Human Trafficking, those who have been incarcerated and providing  affordable housing for military veterans.

Statistically, 1-in-4 women have been the victim of violence by an intimate partner worldwide (1-in-3 within the United States). Ten percent of the total incarcerated population are women and growing faster than men. Affordable housing for veterans continues to a nationwide problem.

Consider this, if all you know is the controlled environment of a prison or the control of an abusive partner, how do you survive when that control is gone?

Our programs will provide an avenue for these individuals, especially survivors. These women should not be hidden or shamed as they did not want, request, nor seek the violence that has been forced upon them. These women are your sisters, mothers, aunts, nieces, and friends.

If we shine a light on these women, we can normalize stopping Domestic Violence and Human/Sex Trafficking while embracing our sisters moving into freedom and changing the lives of our homeless veterans.

Bev's House

A Place to Call Home

Bev’s House is a family friendly women’s shelter of healing for those who are survivors of Domestic Violence and Human/Sex Trafficking. Family friendly means we will house the survivor and her five kids, if that is what it takes to bring her to a place of safety.

Bev's House will also serve the Military Veteran populations at the local level. Reach out to us to find out more information.

Bev's House honors our Founder's Mother in Name and our Founder's Father a Military Veteran.

Brenda's School

A Women's Resource

Brenda’s School is a resource school where life skills are taught to all women coming out of Domestic Violence, surviving Sex Trafficking, and those moving from incarceration to freedom.

The life skills that will be taught range from balancing a check book, childcare, grocery shopping, to finding a job, changing a flat tire, locating an apartment, and having a safety plan.

Brenda's School is named after a retired School Teacher who fought to be a change agent in the lives of all those around her.
